Cops share CCTV of man after girl, 14, raped in toilets at railway station during early hours amid hunt for attacker

British Transport Police (BTP) has now re-released an image of a man the force wants to talk to in order to help with its enquiries and investigation.”Officers believe the man in the CCTV image may have information which could help their investigation.””In the early hours of Sunday 18 February between 2.30am and 4.40am a 14-year-old girl was sexually assaulted and subsequently raped in the toilets at the station.If you recognise the man or have any information, contact BTP by texting 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 2400021176.You can also call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.BTP had previously released the image last year following the offence and chose to publish it again to coincide with the one year anniversary of the assault.

The force said in a statement: “A year on from the day of the incident, detectives investigating a rape and sexual assault at Harlow Town railway station continue to appeal for information regarding a man they believe could assist with their enquiries.POLICE have reshared a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to after a 14-year-old girl was raped at a railway station.The teenager was sexually assaulted between 2.30am and 4.40am on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Harlow Town station in Essex.
