The law came into force in England just two days before the grandmother’s death.A RAPPER has denied guilt after his mum-in-law was mauled to death by two XL Bullies while looking after her grandson.Warren was the first person to be charged in the UK after a ban on XL Bully type dogs came into force.Her son-in-law Ashley Warren appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court today.He pleaded not guilty to two counts of owning or being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury resulting in death.He was bailed to next appear at the same court for trial in August next year.The two adult dogs are said to have launched their attack in a back room as Esther’s horrified 11-year-old grandson fled the property to raise the alarm.Esther’s cause of death was previously given as “dog bite wounds to the upper right limb”.
